The purpose of the bid
Program is to encourage direct sellers, as well as the general
public, to look first to the direct selling community for
the goods and services they use every day.
It is, in essence, the Alliance's
effort to provide greater economic opportunity for all our
members as we increase awareness of the fine goods and services
offered through direct selling channels.
What is the vision of the

Through the bid
Program, the Alliance will harness the collective buying
power of the millions of direct sellers in the United States
and abroad. In doing so, we not only support the success of
the independent direct sellers with whom we do business, we
will also exponentially increase worldwide revenues generated
through direct selling channels everywhere.
How do I become a bid
Partner?
To become a DSWA "bid"
Partner you must use, on the average, one dozen products
each day that have been purchased through an independent direct
seller or through a direct selling company for which you are
a distributor.
Recognizing that we rely solely on the "honor
system" with regard to whether you qualify for this program,
we ask that you join our bid family in the spirit in which
it is created - one of support and appreciation of this great
industry.

If, through the bid
program, we inspire 50% of direct sellers to purchase $100
more per month through a direct selling channel, in one year
we will increase direct selling revenues in the United States
by 7.2 billion dollars! Assuming approximately
half of those revenues are paid to distributors through commissions
and overrides, bid will put more than 3.6 billion
dollars into the pockets of direct sellers in the United States
in one year alone.
