Where and when is the DSWA Celebration?

The DSWA Celebration is being held in Los Angeles, CA April 17, 18, 19 with Leadership being held on April 16 and 17.

What hotel and will you have a special rate?

The DSWA Celebration will be held at the Westin Los Angeles Airport

The DSWA has negotiated a special room rate of $139 per night at the Westin. This is an unbelievable rate for a Los Angeles Hotel!  There are a limited number of rooms available, so register early. The guaranteed special rate is good from April 15 - April 21 (checking out on the 22nd). You must register by March 15, 2009. Click here to register or call 866-716-8132

  We encourage you to book your hotel accommodations as soon as possible. Our room rates are available on a first come first serve basis. Please let the reservations specialist know that you are attending the DSWA Celebration or the DSWA group code number is           . What is the hotel's cut off date for the special room rate?

Is there transportation available from the airport to the hotel?

Yes, the Westin Los Angeles Airport has complimentary shuttle service from the airport to the hotel.  The shuttle runs every 15 minutes, 24 hours a day.

 When can I check in and out of my room?

Check-in time is 3 pm. Check-out is at 11:00 am. The Bell Service at the Westin Los Angeles Airport has a large luggage storage room with a Check/Ticket system for holding luggage for check in/out service.

How can I be reached at the DSWA Celebration?

In an emergency, callers can ask to have their message forwarded to the DSWA staff room at The Westin Los Angeles Airport at (310) 216-5858.

A complete voicemail system is available in each guest room.

What should I bring to the DSWA Celebration?

We recommend you bring writing materials, notepads, business cards, and your date book for noting important future events.

 Are meals included?

DSWA has arranged for a Friday night Welcome Reception, continental breakfast Saturday and Sunday mornings, lunch on Saturday and Sunday and a delicious banquet on Saturday evening.

 What's happening Friday?

The Alliance Partner Showcase will be open, from 3:00 - 5:30 pm. Check out all the great specials, new products and services.

DSWA will be kicking off the weekend in style with a Welcome Reception and Networking Event. Please arrive on time so you have plenty of time to connect with top leaders, speakers, vendors and other attendees.

 What should I wear?

Business attire is appropriate for the General Session Events.

Meeting room temperatures can fluctuate, so it's wise to bring a jacket or sweater. The Saturday night Gala is semi-formal attire.

 Will I be able to purchase resources from speakers and vendors?

Definitely! We have asked each Speaker, Director and Vendor to go the extra mile and offer their products and/or services at a substantial discount, as a benefit to our attendees. This is a wonderful time to take advantage of these special offers to enhance your "Personal Enrichment Library." Many of the speakers and vendors will have products on hand, so be sure to leave extra room in your suitcase!

 May I take photos during the sessions?

Most definitely! Photos are a great way to share the excitement of the DSWA with your prospects and team. Feel free to take photos throughout the entire weekend with the exception of                            presentation. 

 May I record or video the trainings?

Because of copyrights and the sharing of proprietary information attendees will not be able to record or video any of the sessions. However, the DSWA has arranged for the recording of selected sessions and will make them available for purchase after the event. This ensures that the wisdom and insights you gain can be revisited and even shared with your team.

 Do I need to sign-up for the Sunday Breakout Sessions in advance?

Yes - you will make your selections on a first come basis. Once a Sunday breakout session is closed due to maximum registration, you will be asked to select an alternative. We have provided you with a description of each of the Breakout Sessions being conducted on Sunday. If you have any questions about the sessions, you may contact customerservice@mydswa.org for details.

 How can I encourage my husband/partner to attend?
First and foremost, share how important it is to you and that you would like to experience the Celebration with them. Secondly explain that they can participate in the entire event (meals and all) for a discounted fee, or they may attend one or more of the meals for a minimal charge. In addition, we would encourage your partner to attend "The Power Partners Workshop" which will be held on Sunday afternoon as a break-out session.
 What if I need to cancel?

The following schedule will be followed for attendees that cancel prior to the Celebration. 

90 days or more - full refund will be issued.

60 - 89 days prior - 50% refund.
30 - 59 days prior - 50% refund with DSWA product credit.
No refund within 30 days of the event, however your registration is transferable up to 15 days prior to the event.

 Will you guarantee my satisfaction?
We are so certain that the Celebration will positively impact your business, we guarantee your satisfaction.
If you are not satisfied with your Celebration experience after spending three days with us, in every session, your fee (less our cost of meals) will be refunded.
Keep in mind, that by attending this event with you, your partner demonstrates his active involvement in your business, which could have substantial tax savings implications throughout the year that far outweigh the cost of his registration.
